Meet John K.

I can be thankful, that I never had the hassle or the misfortune to have been approached by any other group calling themselves religious. I always wanted to be religious or at least have some faith in Jesus. I couldn't have that through the Catholic church though, no matter how much I went to mass.

Growing up I was inquisitive about God/Jesus in a quiet manner. I once asked my father about the existence of Adam and Eve, he told me they were a story made up, in the Bible, by God to have as an alternative to evolution. I now know this is untrue. To say as much is to call God a liar. I am not calling my dad a liar or that he is calling God a liar, because this is what he has been taught to believe himself. In all my years going to mass I never heard a priest preach out against evolution, or other matters concerning the Old Testament.

I was saved when a man named John Mahoney from Bible Baptist Church, of Ballincollig talked to me about my eternity. He told me about the words of Christ, that I MUST be born again, by the Holy Spirit of God. All I needed was to repent of my sinfulness, and trust only in Jesus' death on the cross as enough to pay for ALL my sins.

I did just that!

Since being born again and through reading the bible I finally realize and know the truth. That we ALL must be born again [John 3:3-7.].

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

I hope and pray that Jesus will find a way to your heart whatever way he can. He is the only way [John 14:6; Romans10:13.].

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
