The most terrifying moment any person will ever face is the moment we all will stand before Almighty God…

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:12

And all our best efforts, and especially our sins will be out in the open and judged by God…

"For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:14

Most people feel they are doing fine towards God, and aren’t worried about meeting God, or that they are in trouble with God. They just want to be left alone. But death waits for no one!

"It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" Hebrews 9:27

Scary, isn’t it? Every secret thing will one day be known and judged by God!

So, the question is… Are You Ready for that day?

What’s Our Problem?

In a word… Sin.

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” Romans 3:10 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

We all have done loads of things that went against God, against our own conscience, and against other people! We have sinned.

And there are consequences for breaking God’s Laws

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:20

So… What are you going to do now?

"Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through [Jesus] is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses." Acts 13:38,38

Jesus died in your place as your substitute. Jesus was judged by God for all your sins, and He made it possible for you to live perfectly forgiven now

I invite you now to bow your head, and carefully consider what I've said. For from your heart, came all your sin; And now that same heart, can invite Jesus in. He paid your debt - your soul He died to redeem. So ask God now to forgive you, and wash you clean. Salvation is a gift to a sinner like me and you; There is nothing left but to just believe that it's true!

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

If you think it is too simple, then you miss the point – it HAS to be simple so anyone and everyone can be saved!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

You can pray right now and admit to God you are the sinner that Jesus died to save!

And then tell Him you want Him to forgive you, and save you from the eternal punishment of your sins, right now! Not because you are a good person, or worthy of God's kindness. But because you believe His words when He says He wants to save you, and because you trust His Son can save a wretch like you!
